Points Based System - Tier 4 > Migrant Students
Tier 4 Points Based System has been introduced by the UK Border Agency to replace the former paragraph 57 of the immigration rules applications. This is a unified system whereby educational institutions have been enrolled to share monitoring responsibilities with the UK Border Agency for applicants who travel to the United Kingdom for studies. In order to qualify for consideration in this category and indeed succeed an applicant must provide an acceptance letter - confirmation of acceptance as a student - from a formally registered educational institution on the UK Border Sponsor's Register , preferably as an A rated sponsor.
Every sponsor must detail certain information on the visa letter including an applicant's name, date of birth, and nationality along with course of study, course fees and previous academic qualifications considered by the sponsor institution amongst others. Applicants must also demonstrate that they hold a specified level of funds for their maintenance.
Applicants require a total score of 40 points in Tier 4 applications. An applicant is awarded 30 points for a confirmation of acceptance (CAS) and 10 points for maintenance. Wise Step would prepare your application to the best attainable standard with precise advice on the merits of your case thereby assuring you of its approval by the decision maker.
